“For my husband’s birthday, my mum bought our family a 4 seater v8 trike ride as a surprise. What a blast! The kids were so excited when Nigel drove up the driveway to pick us up. The drive and views up Papamoa Hills were fab and then the ride through Welcome Bay, Tauranga and down to the Mount made it the perfect length cruise. We’ve never done anything like that before, but can highly recommend it to anyone. A great event that we will always remember as a family. Beat the Feet - As well as our gorgeous Mauao to walk up and around why not give the CBD To Mount Maunganui walking trail a go? Set off and across the Harbour Bridge on a designated pathway you can stop and rest along the way if you want and count the number of cargo or cruise ships in town depending on the season. As you head down Totara St towards the Mount you’ll be getting closer to some of the best bars, cafes and restaurants in town so what better motivation do you need? Too tired to walk back? Don’t worry about that there’s plenty of buses or cabs that can bring you home, or maybe even better, hitch a ride on the back of a V8 Trike and have an awesome tiki tour back to finish the day off in style.
